The Art Museum of Southeast Texas relies on members and donors to help bring incredible exhibitions, provide educational programs, and inspire creativity throughout our community. Whether you are an art enthusiast, or a newcomer, we invite you to join our growing AMSET family. Join AMSET for an Opening Reception celebrating our exhibition “A Legacy of Collecting: Art Museum of Southeast Texas”. This is the second installment of the historical exhibition telling the story of the Museum through collected artworks and archival documents. The Art Museum of Southeast Texas is pleased to present Brandon Gouthier: Lipstick and Grease as its summer 2026 Café Arts exhibition. This exhibition includes a small selection of photographs from 2005 to 2021 documenting Texas and Nevada vintage car and motorcycle culture. He would like to dedicate this exhibition to his father, who recently passed away, and was the source of not only his love of car and bike culture, but also taught him that honor, passion and work ethic are foundational to a life well-lived. Join us for a 90s-inspired Art Social featuring four throwback craft stations, a complimentary snack bar packed with favorite treats from the decade, and a look back at the Art Museum of Southeast Texas during the 1990s through our summer exhibition, A Legacy of Collecting . Relive the era of beads, bedazzling, and DIY fun! The Art Museum of Southeast Texas invites families and visitors of all ages to Free Family Arts Day: “Don’t Mess with Texas, Mess with Art” on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun, family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
